Treva Carlisle was born March 30, 1936, in Dexter, Mo., the daughter of Roy and Hazel (Wicks) Conner.
Treva passed away at the age of 84, on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, at The Willows, St. Joseph.
Treva was formerly employed at Sundstrand Corporation in Dowagiac. She attended the Full Gospel Assembly of Hartford. She loved mowing her lawn, however, she most enjoyed all of the times spent with her family, especially the holidays.
On Feb. 19, 1952, Treva was united in marriage with Lindell Carlisle. Lindell passed away on April 22, 2009. Also preceding Treva were her parents; one sister; and four brothers.
Together, Lindell and Treva raised their seven children: Dwayne (Tamara) Carlisle of Alaska, Larry (Karen) Carlisle, Brenda (Doug) Musick, Diana Middleton (Terrance Buckley), Perry Carlisle, Teresa (David) Sparks and Mike (Peggy) Carlisle all of Michigan; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Charles (Judy) Conner of Kentucky.
The family will welcome friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hartford, where at 2 p.m. a celebration of life service to honor Treva’s memory will be officiated by Pastor Lonnie Truelove. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Treva’s name may be made to Caring Circle of Lakeland. The Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, is assisting with arrangements.
