Pamela Trudell Obituary


Pamela Kay Trudell of Paw Paw, was born Oct. 30, 1959, in Watervliet, the daughter of Pete and Betty (Bunn) Roper. She passed away at the age of 62, on Monday, Aug. 15, 2022 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, Mich.


Pamela was preceded in passing by her mother, Betty Steenyk, and her father, Pete Roper.


Pamela is survived by her loving husband, Robbie Trudell; two sons: Floyd (Cassie) Genovese of Kalamazoo and Matthew Genovese of Neenah, Wis.; a daughter, Theresa (Justin) Raymond of Paw Paw; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and two brothers: David (Marcie) Roper of Hartford, and Scott (Amy) Roper of Mattawan, Mich.


Pamela loved to travel the country during the winter months in their RV with her husband Robbie. While Pamela wasn’t traveling she loved to spend time with her family, friends and especially her grandkids.


As to Pamela’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will welcome friends from 4-5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 29, at the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford. Immediately following the visitation, a grave side service will be held in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hartford. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Pamela’s name may be made to her family.
