Obituary


Nancy Louise Vann, 84 of Paw Paw, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023, at Centrica Rose Arbor Place, Oshtemo Township.


Nancy was born March 31, 1939, in Coldwater, Mich., the daughter of Charles and Mildred (Lett) Goble, both of whom precede her in passing. Also preceding her in passing are a daughter-in-law, Sharon Vann; sister, Carol Hetzler; and ex-husband, William Vann.


Nancy worked for most of her adult life, including as a security guard at a hospital, was employed in the banking industry, at Hartford City Hall, Hartford Public Schools and with the State of Michigan Department of Human Services, from where she retired.


Nancy is survived by a daughter, Judi (Daniel) Boone of Gainesboro, Tenn.; son, Keith Vann of Hartford; grandson, Sean Vann (Masako Inoue); granddaughter, Nichole Vann (Dylan Bogart); two great-granddaughters, Rinka and Fuka Inoue; sister, Susan (Bob) Schroader of Chesterton, Ind.; and her ‘fur babies’, Annie and Lucy.


As per Nancy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private gathering for family and friends will take place at a later date.
