Virginia Rose Lovelace

Virginia was born July 1, 1931, in South Bend, the daughter of Salvador and Mary Francis. Virginia passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, at The Timbers of Cass County, Dowagiac.

Virginia married Otho Lovelace on July 3, 1952. Together they owned and operated Lovelace and Sons Roofing Business. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, coloring, working in her garden, but most of all, being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Otho precedes her in passing along with her parents; a sister, and three brothers.

Virginia is survived by her children: Virgil (Diane) Lovelace, Charlotte (Glen) Waterson, Chris Lovelace, Gina Lovelace and Jamie Lovelace all of Dowagiac. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Keeler Church of God, where at 4 p.m. a celebration of life service to honor Virginia's memory will be held. Pastor Boyd Saylor will officiate. Virginia will be laid to rest with a private service in Riverside Cemetery, Dowagiac.
