Stanley Leroy Head

Stanley Leroy Head was born Sept. 11, 1954, in Watervliet, the son of James and Joyce (Snyder) Head. He passed away peacefully at the age of 64 on April 15, 2019, at his home in Covert Township.

Stan as he was known, married Linda Peterson on March 3, 2019. He was formerly employed at Banic Construction. In his spare time he enjoyed watching NASCAR, spending precious moments with family and friends and most important was his love for the Chicago Bears.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service to honor Stan's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Linda. Stan is survived by his wife Linda; a son, Ryan (Annie) Head of Detroit; a grandson, Corbin Peterson of Watervliet; his mother, Joyce of South Haven; two brothers: Don (Sharon) Head of Tennessee and Bill Head of Dowagiac; a sister, Penny Head of Coloma, and many other family members, and friends.

Stan was preceded in passing by his father, James on Feb. 4, 2019.
