Roger William Gibbs

Roger William Gibbs, 56, of Hartford passed away Monday, May 6, 2019, at home.

Roger was born Jan. 23, 1963, the son of Donald and Margaret (Laberdie) Gibbs, both of whom precede him in passing.

Roger was formerly employed with Duffy Mott Company and Van Buren County Animal Control. He loved music of all kinds, Lions, Tigers, Bears, cooking and helping others in need.

Roger is survived by a daughter, Shana Gibbs (David Drake); grandchild, Alexis Drake; and a sister, Laquanna Gibbs.

The family will welcome friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, where the service to honor his memory will commence at 7:30 p.m. Pastor Shannon Truelove will officiate. Following services, cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Roger's name should be made to the family.
