Misty Dawn Valentine

Misty Dawn Valentine was born Feb. 13, 1981, in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was born the daughter of Brenda Schock-Rodriguez. Misty passed away at Corewell Health South, in St. Joseph, on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at the age of 43.

Misty was employed at the Hampton Inn in South Haven.

Misty leaves behind to cherish her memory; her husband, Grant Mautz; her daughter, Alivia Mautz; her mother, Brenda (Albert); a brother, Joseph Rodriguez; and a sister, Jenny Rodriguez.

Misty was preceded in passing by a brother, Marcus Gallagher.

The family will welcome friends for a time of fellowship from 4 to 6 p.m., on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford. As per Misty’s wishes, cremation will follow. Those wishing to leave memorial condolences for the family may do so at http://www.calvin-leonardfh.com.
