Mia Nicole Garcia

Mia Nicole Garcia, 6-month-old daughter of Maguin and Gladi Garcia, was called home to be with her God in Heaven on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015. Mia was born June 10, 2014, in Kalamazoo.

Mia is survived by her parents; two sisters, Giselle and Shakira Garcia; grandparents: Gerardo Garcia, Maria E. Aguirre, Maguin Garcia and Adelaida Garcia; four aunts: Maribel Garcia, Azucena Garcia, Martha Reyes and Guadalupe Garcia; an uncle, Bernardo Garcia; and nephews: Gerardo Garcia, Keren Reyes, Gerson Reyes, Saul Garcia, Jonathan Garcia and Armando Garcia.

Services were Monday, Jan. 5, at Jesus Is The Way Church and Tuesday, Jan. 6, at Calvin Funeral Home, both in Hartford. Pastor Alberto Reyes officiated. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
