Lorraine Kathryn Hillman

Lorraine Kathryn Hillman, 62, of Hartford passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, at her home.

Lori, as she was known by all who knew her, was born Oct. 19, 1962, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Robert and Myrtle (Duncan) Pingel, both of whom precede her in passing.

In her personal life, she loved collecting coins and stamps, her cats, music, plants and reading. But her most cherished times were spent with her family, who will miss her dearly.

Lori married John Max Hillman III, on Sept. 5, 2003, and he survives, along with a daughter, Aaliah (Shawn) Gilbert of Des Plaines, Ill.; a son, Matthew Cooper of Des Plaines, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Ethan and Noah Gilbert.

Lori has been cremated, and her wishes were for no public services to be held. The family has entrusted the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, with arrangements. Those wishing to leave condolences for the family may do so at http://www.calvin-leonardfh.com.
