Kyle Morrison, 81, passed away June 9th, 2026, surrounded by his family at home.
Kyle was born August 6th, 1944, to Roy and Jannie Morrison, in South Haven, Mich. He was raised in a big family at home. He attended South Haven schools and graduated in 1964. He then entered the United States Air Force for four years. On Nov. 16th, 1968, he married Patricia Davis.
Don was what most called him, but he had several nicknames, including Big Chief and one used by his fellow servicemates, Gomer Pyle. He loved to tease and was proud of some Indian heritage. He worked many jobs, but loved the outdoor work the most. He loved his God, family, and nature. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping, and camping all over with his wife. He was a big reader of world history and war movies, loved old western movies, and enjoyed his western attire, including his hats and pointed boots.
Kyle is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Davis Morrison; a daughter, Tabetha; grandchildren, Raveena and Kadin; a brother, Kenny Morrison; a sister, Audrey Mathias; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in passing by his parents; two brothers, Jay and James Morrison; and two sisters, Betty Phanuef and Imogene Hogel.
He will be sadly missed by all that knew him. Rest in peace.
