Kevin William Darling

Kevin William Darling was born July 24, 1984, in Kalamazoo, the son of Jerry Darling and Sharon (Lowe) Miller. Kevin passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 13, 2017.

Kevin was a 2002 graduate of Hartford High School and went on to become a certified welder.

The family will welcome friends from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, followed by a memorial celebration of life service to honor Kevin's memory. The Rev. Glen Cowles of East Arlington Baptist Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jim Gilmore Jr.-Community Healing Center in care of Sherry Miller or Calvin Funeral Home. On Sept. 17, 2011, Kevin was united in marriage to Hollie McGowan, who survives; along with their children, Jackson and Jacey Darling; his mother, Sherry (Mark) Miller; his father, Jerry (Ada) Darling; two sisters, Kacey Darling and Andrea Gallegos; a brother, Eddie Gallegos; and grandparents, Tom and Ardis Weston; and many other family members and friends.

Kevin was preceded in passing by his grandparents, Earnie and Verna Lowe, and two uncles.
