Kathryn Mary White, 95, of Coloma passed away Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, at Hanson Hospice Center, Stevensville.
Kathryn was born Aug. 30, 1922, in St. Paul, Minn., the daughter of John and Margaret (Beatty) Frankhaiser.
Kathryn married Lester White on April 1, 1939. She was formerly employed as a bookkeeper for Schroder Motors, and Peters Trucking. She delivered luncheons for the senior Center of Berrien County and was an avid card player, with her favorite being Skippo. Lester passed away on Nov. 18, 1993. She was also preceded in passing by a son Oliver (Ted) White, a daughter Nancy Gober, and a sister; Marjorie Potter.
Kathryn is survived by a daughter, Melanie (Jason) Cowgill of Coloma; a son, Lewis White of Charleston, S.C.; eight grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
The family will welcome friends from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28 at the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, where the service to honor her memory will commence at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Laurie Timmer officiating. Burial will be in Hill Cemetery, Lawrence. Memorial donations in Kathryn's name may be made either the North Berrien Senior Center-Coloma, or Alzheimer's Association.
