John Peter Sell, II

John Peter Sell II was born on July 18, 1958, in Watervliet, the son of John and Audrey (Arnold) Sell. John passed away suddenly on Monday, Oct. 5, 2026, at his home in Keeler Township.

John is survived by his mother, Audrey; a brother, Eric Sell and his wife, Merrie; two nephews, Bailey Sell and Ean Sell; a special friend, Mike Richcreek; and numerous other family members and friends.

John was preceded in passing by his father.

John worked his entire career as a mechanic at Hull Lift Truck. He started there in 1978 and was still working there at the time of his passing. At an early age, John also worked at the Sister Lakes Bowling Alley, helping Rocky with pinsetters and anything else that needed to be done.

When not working, John’s passions were anything mechanical or technology related. He loved computers, 3D printing, motorcycles, air shows, and car racing. He especially loved taking care of his mother, Audrey.

Cremation has taken place and a private service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in John’s name may be made to either the Wounded Warriors Project or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
