John Howard Martin

John Howard Martin, 64, of Lincoln Township passed away suddenly on Monday, Aug. 24, 2026, at home.

John was born Dec. 22, 1961, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Arthur and Sharon (Wright) Martin, both of whom precede him in passing. He is also preceded in passing by a grandson, Hunter Baldwin.

John loved hunting (especially with his son, Jeremy), enjoyed tinkering, gaming with his son Joshua, and racing, but his most important memorable times were spent with his family.

John is survived by two children, Jeremy (Kari) Baldwin and Joshua Birmele; granddaughter, Emilee (Kyle) Smith; grandson, James (Skyler) Meadows; brothers and sisters: Art (Vicky) Martin, Robert Martin, Brian Martin, Misty (Dave) Muenchow, David (Holly) Martin, Shannon (Emmanuel) Martin, Hylah (Kelly Rae) Martin, and Heather (Rob) Scroggs; numerous nieces and nephews; and his care giver (and niece), Ariel.
