Jessica Lynn True

Jessica Lynn True (Wallace) was born Oct. 21, 1986, in Fort Bragg, N.C. She passed away suddenly at the age of 31 on Nov. 30, 2017, at her home in Decatur. She was the daughter of Theresa Colgren and Mark and Cheri Wallace.

She was a 2005 graduate of Lawrence High School.

A memorial celebration of life service to honor Jessica's memory will take place at noon Wednesday, Dec. 6, at the Lawrence United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family. The Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford is assisting the family. Jessica is survived by her children: Anthony Smith, Aiden Smith, Halie Wallace and Kyler True; mother, Theresa Colgren; father and step-mother, Mark (Cheri) Wallace; siblings: Clark Wallace, Trista (Chris) Kelly, Stephanie (Shane) Rowe, Cassandra Nelson, Richard (Kim) Bruens, Terry-Joe (Brandi) Bruens, Virginia Wallace and Mark Wallace, Jr.; three grandmothers: Jean Dziekanowski, Clara Wallace and Lorine Wheetley, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Jessica is preceded in death by a brother, Jeremy Dziekanowski; two grandfathers: Robert Wallace and Freddy Wheetley, Sr.; two great-grandmothers, Virginia Barham and Evelyn Wallace and a great-grandfather, Clark Wallace.
