Florencio Solis Vigil

Florencio Solis Vigil, 84, of Lawton was born on Mar. 8, 1942, in San Jose de Ipoa Matehuala, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, the son of Sipriano and Andrea (Solis) Vigil, both of whom precede him in passing. Also preceding him in passing were his wife, Antonia; a sister, Senida Cauldron (Vigil); and two brothers, Julio Vigil and Juan Carisalez.

Florencio passed away on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026, at Medilodge of Portage.

The family will welcome friends from 4 to 6 P.M. on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Hartford, with a Mass of Christian Celebration to honor his memory commencing at 6 P.M., with Father Leo Cartagena as celebrant. Following the ceremony, cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the family. In 1970, he married Antonia Reyna. She passed away on Dec. 31, 2016. He is survived by six sons: Juan E. Vigil, Diego Vigil, Florencio Jr. (Brandy) Vigil, Daniel (Haley) Vigil, Lorenzo Vigil, and Jorge (Flor) Gonzalez; two daughters, Sandra Franco and Irene Albarran Vigil (Florencio); 33 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; 1 great-great-great grandson; and a sister, Maria de Lupe Tovar.
