Eva Goodrich

Eva Goodrich was born October 14, 1932 in Denver, Colorado. She was the daughter of Martin and Magdalena (Leitheim) Gaborik. Eva passed away peacefully at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo on Tuesday December 11, 2018.

On March 3, 1950, Eva was united in marriage to Robert Dale Goodrich Sr. She was formerly employed at LakeView Community Hospital in Paw Paw. In her spare time, Eva enjoyed painting, sewing and gardening, but she most cherished the time spent with her family, especially all her grandchildren.

Eva is survived by three sons; Robert Jr. (Melody) Goodrich of Lawton, Christopher (Doris) Goodrich, and Martin (Michelle) Goodrich both of Gobles, a daughter; Janine Brink of Kalamazoo, a daughter-in-law; Mary Goodrich of Lawton and thirteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her husband; Robert Dale Goodrich Sr., a son; Marvin Goodrich, a son-in-law; Gary Brink, a grandchild, a great grandchild and eight siblings.

The family will welcome friends from 1 to 2 P.M. on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the Gobles Seventh Day Adventist Church, followed by a celebration of life service to honor Eva’s memory at 2 P.M. Pastor Alex Rybachek will officiate. As to Eva’s wishes cremation will follow the service. Eve’s ashes will be placed next to her husband in Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton Township. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Gobles Junior Academy. The Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford is assisting the family.
