Clarence Bryan Fults, Jr.

Clarence Bryan Fults Jr. was born on April 24, 1941, in Whitwell, Tenn. He passed away suddenly at the age of 77 on Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at his home in Hartford.

Sonny, as he was known by everyone who knew him, served his country proudly in the United States Navy for over 12 years, during the Vietnam War. After his time in the service, Sonny was employed and retired from the Zenith Corporation of Benton Harbor. He loved spending time with his family, vacationing in Tennessee, hunting, NASCAR racing, fishing with his son, Jimi and grandson, Zachary. He very much enjoyed grocery and appointment outings with his granddaughter, Emily.

The family will receive friends from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2, at Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford, where at 4:30 military rites will be conducted by the North Berrien Military Rites Team. As to his wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Clarence is survived by a son, Jimi (Melissa) Williams of Hartford; two grandchildren, Zachary and Emily Williams, both of Watervliet; and four siblings: Peggy Jones of Tennessee, Faye Maggert and Sherry (Steve) Huffman, both of Dowagiac, and Roger "Buster" Sissom of Tennessee; and numerous other family members.

Clarence was preceded in passing by his wife, Toni; his parents, Clarence and Flora (Sissom) Fults; and two sisters, Jean Wade and Betty Curtis.
