Veronica Selena Cardoso

Veronica Selena Cardoso, 25, of Lawrence passed away on Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, Mich.

Born on July 16, 1998, in Battle Creek, Mich., to Arnulfo “Morris” and Erica (Adams) Cardoso. She was a 2016 graduate of Edwardsburg High School. Veronica dedicated her life to her family and friends. Always loving, reliable, and supportive, Veronica was a caregiver that made sure to put everyone before herself.

Veronica is survived by her parents; sister, Tamara; brothers: Patrick (Chelsea) and Ricardo; nephews: Daniel, Jesus, Joseiah, and Nash; nieces: Adalia, Dulce, Lidia, Ellena, Gwendolyn, LutzMarina, and Amelia; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Santiago and Socorro (Herrera) Cardoso; and her great-grandparents: Lester and Selma (Higgins) Shaul.

Veronica has been cremated, and visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Friday, March 8, at Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford, with a memorial service from 2-3 p.m. A celebration of life dinner will be Saturday, March 9, at her home.
