LouAnne is also survived by her mother, Betty Smith of Coloma; sisters, JoAnn Vaughn of Hartford, Shirley Buckley, Sandra Wilcoxsin, Debra Smith and Nancy (Carroll) Bailey, all of Coloma, and Lisa (Joe) Sikes of Keeler; and brother, Dana Smith of South Bend, Ind. LouAnne also leaves behind her best friend, Tina (Art) MacGirvin of Watervliet, and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and her church family.

LouAnne was preceded in passing by her father, John, and a sister, Brenda Smith.

LouAnne was a certified occupational therapy assistant at Cass County Medical Care Facility. She was a member of the Keeler General Baptist Church and had many hobbies, including Bible study, computer, women's retreats and shopping.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at the Keeler General Baptist Church, where a celebration of life service will be held at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church. The family has entrusted the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, with arrangements. Those wishing to leave memorial condolences for the family are encouraged to do so at our web site at http://www.calvin-leonardfh.com.

She was a rock to her whole family, from her parents down to her great-grandchildren. She never knew a stranger - all were her friends. If you didn't know about the Lord, she would make sure to tell you. She will never be forgotten. We loved her, Alleluia.
