Cindy Rosales Obituary

Cindy Rosales, 40 of Bangor, was taken up from her family here on Earth unexpectedly Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015.

Cindy was born to Esperanza G. Rosales on Aug. 22, 1974, one of eight beloved children. She graduated from Hartford High School in 1993, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. While in High School, Cindy attended the Van Buren Technology Center for accounting and went on to attend Western Michigan University. She furthered her interest in the airline industry, attending Boyd Business Travel and subsequently working for a time at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport.

Cindy's love for her family and community was evident in her early life, working for the Van Buren Intermediate School District in the migrant program during the summer, under the direction of John Dominguez. Later in life, Cindy worked for the Intercare Network, an extension of her giving heart again for the community she loved. Cindy attended Catholic Churches in Bangor, Hartford and South Haven, where she lived her faith and devotion to the Lord in her communion with the Catholic faith. Many may have known Cindy for her love of reading, writing poetry and animals or sharing a pepperoni pizza with her or you may have benefitted from her generosity through her love of extreme coupon shopping, as Cindy was known to make her money stretch far beyond. Her illuminating smile has been described as the morning sun rising in the early morning, warming the hearts of those around her.

Cindy will be missed by her many family and friends, especially her mom, Esperanza. Also surviving are brothers: Jose Antonio (Carol Ann) Rosales, Israel (Diana) Rosales, Jose Angel Rosales and Juan Carlos Rosales; sisters: Mary Lucille (Angelberto) Rosales Cavazos, Esperanza Maria Rosales, Frances (Valentin) Rosales Portillo and Cindy's beloved angels, her nieces: Danyelle, Natalia, Noemi, Vanessa and Victoria and nephews: Abel II, Anthony II, Israel II and Valentin II.

Cindy was preceded by her father, Abel C. Rosales in 2006.

A gathering of friends and family will take place at Sacred Heart Parish Hall, Bangor, on Monday, March 2 from 4-5:30 p.m. with a meal to follow. A family memorial service at St. Basil Catholic Church, South Haven with Father Robert Flickinger as celebrant will take place at a later date. Memorial contribution in lieu of flowers may be made in honor of her father to the American Cancer Society.
